Based on the novel by Tove Jansson the story follows the inspirational tale of a young girl, her father and her grandmother spending a midsummer on a small, uninhabited island in the Gulf of Finland. Shot on 16mm film. Starring Glenn Close, Ingvar Sigurdsson, Anders Danielsen Lie. Directed by Charlie McDowell.
