Visual identity and website for Pure Waste Textiles.
Pure Waste textiles makes ecologically sustainable and premium quality 100% recycled fabrics and yarns. Products are entirely made out of recycled textile waste and offer the consumer the same quality and comfort as those made out of virgin materials. In simple terms, waste made pure.
The scarab beetle used as the logomark was worshipped in ancient Egyptian art. The beetle rolls dung into a ball as food and as a brood chamber in which to lay eggs that are later transformed into larvae. For these reasons the scarab was seen as a symbol of this heavenly cycle and the idea of rebirth or regeneration. The brand was awarded Finatex fashion act of the year 2013.
