PROJECT DEPICTION
Making of the Slush shirt.
Art direction and post-production for a short film on the manufacturing process of a T-shirt made from 100% recycled textile waste. Pure Waste produced official merchandise for the Slush 2015 startup event including clothing and accessories. Slush is a non-profit event organized by a community of entrepreneurs, investors, students and music festival organizers. In 2015 Slush brought together 15.000 attendees and more than 1700 startups for the two-day event. The video was screened in the event to promote the merchandise and the collaboration with Slush and Pure Waste Textiles.
The Pure Waste factory is located in India where the footage was shot. Post-production was done in Helsinki with editor Jussi Rautaniemi and composer Max Lilja.
